Everyone wants to be a rockstar.
If you're a developer, designer, system administrator or otherwise engaged in the web industry, you've no doubt run across the job descriptions wherein the company is looking for a 'rockstar'. That's great that companies are up-front about their needs, but seldom do the requirements match the offering terms. Oh well.
The hyperbole of the 'rockstar' bit always seems just ludicrous because if every company only hires rockstars, then doesn't that mean that by definition that rockstar is a synonym for employee? Anyway, Gene Babon over at Beantown Web made a recent post that turns the focus on the recruiters themselves. Based on reputation scores, Gene tries to identify the best Technology Recruiters in the Boston area.
